I think we all have those moments of regret in our lives, I know I do. My life before I was saved was reckless and impulsive a lot of the time. I thank God that I was saved and that I have a chance to repent and seek forgiveness.

"HE MAKES ALL THINGS NEW"

"Behold, I am about to do something new; even now it is coming. Do you not see it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness and streams in the desert." Isaiah 43:19 BSB

Regret: disappointment over a past decision, second thoughts, an uncertain choice, doubt, sorrow over past actions, remorse over something.

Restoration: renewal, returning, improving, transformation, better than before.

I regret not focusing more on my family than on my personal needs in the past.  I regret not being home more but away working when they needed me most. I regret the time I wasted on personal selfish endeavors in times that could have been spent with them, doing more things together as a family. But the LORD has been gracious to us. He is slowly turning everything around. The LORD is righting all my wrongs, using my past mistakes for the better.

This is His will to restore families and people everywhere, turning past mistakes around for the good. My biggest regret now was thinking I could do this on my own when I needed help, His help, and that was when I chose to completely surrender everything to Him, every detail of my life, to allow Him to take over. As a result, I've learned that true restoration only happens when we willingly let Him have His way.

Now, I have no regrets about anything past. Those mistakes never come back to haunt me anymore. Now I pray about everything, leaving everything in GOD's Hands. Yes, there is no doubt that He has taken over powerfully, so much so that now I'm excited to look forward with hopeful expectation for the great things He plans to do and praise Him for what He's currently doing.

So, I kneel, look up to Heaven, and say the only thing I can, Father, forgive me for all my past mistakes, all my sins. Thank You, LORD, for restoring us and making things better, for now and forever. Amen

THANK YOU, LORD!

GOD bless you all!

"Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Hallelujah!" Psalm 150:6 BSB

Good morning, James and Adela:

James, you have a wonderful testimony that could be shared at a men's conference!

However the Lord might lead you, there are many young men who might benefit from hearing your story.

We, too, have learned that God's power is great in our sweet surrender to him. We're on a new journey and we're excited to see what He is going to do as we partner with Him. I've sidelined my Type A personality. God is in charge!
